Welcome Back! No Red Ink Assignments/Quizzes Schedule

Dear students and parents,

Welcome back, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas break and you're ready to begin 2016!  I am excited for the new year and hope it's a year that is filled with success for all of you.

Here is the schedule for No Red Ink Assignments/lessons for the following 2 weeks:

8th Grade:

• 1/7/16  Diagnostic Test - to measure student knowledge of past lessons on Connecting Clauses  (this grade will not be entered into Gradelink)
• In class review of concepts that students missed on the test 1/8/16

• 1//11/16 Diagnostic Test - (for the following unit) Phrases and Dependent Clauses

• In class review of concepts within this lesson through out the week

• 1/18/16 - Assignment is due for Phrases and Dependent Clauses
• 1/19/16 - Quiz on Phrases and Dependent Clauses

7th Grade:

• 1/7/16 Diagnostic Test - to measure student knowledge of past lessons on Identifying Sentences and Fragments - (grade will not be entered into Gradelink)
• In class review of concepts that students missed on the test 1/8/16

• 1/8/16 - Assignment is due for Identifying Sentences and Fragments
• In class review of concepts within this lesson

• 1/14/16 - Quiz on Identifying Sentences and Fragments

6th Grade:

•  1/7/16 Diagnostic Test - Punctuation with Conjunctions (grade will not be entered into Gradelink)
• 1/8/16 -1/15/16 Review concepts within this lesson

• 1/18/16 - Assignment is due for Punctuation with Conjunctions
• 1/19/16 - Quiz on Punctuation with Conjunctions
